Safety
SAE Electrical Contractors is committed to ensure the protection of our employees by providing them with the tools, training, guidance, and methods to work safely and productively every day.
We have a comprehensive written Safety and Health Manual, Code of Safe Work Practice, Employee Emergency Action Plan, Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protection Program, Employee Environmental Protection, Safety Training, Drug-Free Workplace Program, and Site Specific Safety Plan.
A project specific safety plan is prepared for each individual project. In addition, Toolbox Safety meetings are held on a weekly basis to discuss current concerns, proper use of equipment used on jobsites, safe use of abrasive tools, safe ladder use, trenching safety and excavating training, and many more topics that are pertinent to the safety of our employees, our customers, and the workplace environment.
All our employees, including foremen and management, have completed course work in Occupational Safety and Health. Our supervisors and foramens have all completed the OSHA Construction Safety Health 30 hour course; in addition, every employee is required to have a minimum of the OSHA 10 hour course. Additional courses completed include Competent Person for Excavation, CPR/First Aid, and other specialized certifications.
